I have got to know about Islam properly through my private home tutor. After getting Hidayah, I have been trying to practice Islam properly with his suggestions. Whenever I want to know something about Islam, or when I want to know about a Mas'ala, I directly contact him through messenger or phone call and get the answers. If he does not know the answer, he tells Haqqani Alems and Muftis about those questions, and then he provides me the answers. After I have been promoted to college, he left my tuition. However, we still contact with each other for knowing about different Deen purposes.
My family is not Deendar. Recently, My Chacha (who is an Islamophobe) has forbidden my private tutor for not contacting me. However, for knowing about different Deen purposes, I still contact with my private tutor and he also contacts with me. Now, if my family members ask me about whether I contact with my private tutor or not, I reply, "No, I don't contact with him" so that they don't do harm to me and my teacher. Is it Haram or Halal to speak false in these matters?
